Bethel knocked off Petersburg 40-30 in a second-round game at the Alaska 3A girls basketball tournament at the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage.
Bethel led by just three points at the end of the third, but came out strong in the final quarter to put up 14 points.
Leading the Bethel Warriors with 11 points was Allison McIntyre. Marilyn Saddler put up 11 points. Tillie Kaiser scored nine points. Bethel was 20 for 29 from the line and shot 36 percent from the field.
Bethel will play for fourth place Saturday at 9 a.m.
Bethel lost in the first round to Eielson 47-23.
