File for Aleutians East Borough election Aug. 22-Sept.2

Candidates for the Aleutians East Borough offices of mayor, assembly seats A and F, and school board seats C and D may file with the borough clerk in Sand Point or with an assistant borough clerk any time between Aug. 22 and Sept. 2.

The information is contained the borough's official notice of offices to be filled, for the election scheduled for Oct. 4, released by borough officials Aug.19.

The borough assistant clerks are Kimberly Newman and Savanah Yatchmeneff, King Cove; Sandra Bell, Akutan; Chris Emrich, False Pass; Dawn Lyons, Cold Bay, and Nanette Johnson, Nelson Lagoon.

Complete notarizedformsmust be received inperson by the clerk or assistant clerk. Faxed copies of signed declaration of candidacy will not be accepted as official notice of intent to file.

All candidates must file a completed public official financial disclosure statement.
